Quick Write: Do I think we have the power to change society? I believe that we can because society changes  everyday but then society is big and stronger than me as a person so no I don't believe that we can change society. But a group of people can but were not talking about that .

QUICK WRITE: I do believe that love changes people because there is something called love struck, someone can love someone to the fullest and do anything for them. Ive once seen in tv that a girl is locked up for several years, before she was locked up she had a future ahead of her. But with her loving some guy she ended up doing the things he wants her to do which was bad things, illegal things. Like personally love changed me, love had me have trust issues and have my insecurity very high which messed me up.

I don't believe everything I get taught in history but I do it cause I need to pass the class and regents. Only way ill believe history if someone from the past was to tell me stories then maybe Ill believe it but written words on text books just doesn't seem accurate to me. I mean most things do seem true to me but I wouldn't really believe it.


Final Reflection: Its impossible to change history because what is done its done. You can change the matter of what people has done before though , for example if the oldest person alive is lets say 103 years old in the future someone can live for 104 years old. That right there just changed the past of people.

Final Reflection: My response to the apple commercial was that I was kind of creeped out at the fact how they presented Macintosh. It made it seem like Macintosh was the end of the world or it was a bad thing coming our way. The impact that it had on 1984 was the anticipation, waiting on something to happen. The message that apple was trying to send was that a new modern technology was coming and it was about the change the world and society together. But I believe that the message and commercial just everything all together should've been different and better.

If you really love someone you would never betray them. Im stuck on between neutral and agreeing because nobody really knows what love is. The only real love in my opinion is the love between you and your parents as much as you hate them for whatever reason , they're the people that brought you to this world to live and live a wonderful life, even if your life is shitty every life is worth a lot.

FINAL REFLECTION:

I was angry it was at a point where I was going to burst out the class before I say something real foul to you. I held my anger back though so I wouldn't get in trouble, the excersise was a humorous feeling after finding out the whole thing was a joke, I felt like I got punk'd. But it was funny and cool to do but not to do it again.

QUICK WRITE: My character which is from the book "Hunger Games" Katniss has a growth mindset. In that being said she doesn't give up at all in serving the Hunger Games. She thinks outside the box when it comes to surviving and she has no doubts in herself. She keeps going and does whatever she can to survive which is also the main thing to do in the Hunger Games.

• What responsibility does an individual have to society and vice versa?

Society itself can change in any matter of way , society is never the same. So the responsibility of an individual to society is go with along the society. But thats where vice versa comes from is never good to be the same but good to switch it around i guess. I really don't get this question much but what I think about society is that society can be both good and bad.

My biggest challenge in completing the argument essay is finding counter claims for my claim. I haven't really stayed with a claim yet which would be quite hard for me to even start the essay. Finding a claim is not that easy when everyone else got good ideas and the obvious ones i might say.

Mindset And Genius

    What separates micheal jordan and the other basketball players is simple, Jordan is the best basketball player in all time. Theres not a lot of people that can do what Jordan did, theres not a lot of players that have as much rings that he got.

    A strong opinion I have about mindset is that you can change an fixed mindset to make into a growth mindset, and the effects of doing that is that you can achieve better grades on whatever subject you had trouble with. I believe this is true because due to the fact that I had a fixed mindset when I became a year drop out , I changed it into a growth mindset and my goal now is to graduate even though I regret that the mistakes I've done

It all depends if you're mindset is bad or not. If your mindset about things is good then leave it as it is, because why change something that is doing good for you meaning that you should be able to have good grades. But then if you're mindset is not as good then you're grades will lower down.

Final Reflection:
     
      I do find this experiment that they've done very believable, because if you don't extend you're learning in something then you won't be able to achieve nothing. Just like how Ms.Becker had said that when playing in a sport , its good to keep playing the sport and keep on learning new things about the sport so you can better yourself in that sport. In that being said I can envision myself in getting better grades if I improve my growth mindset.

My claim from the passage "MindSet" that I found vey important was that when it said , "not only weren't they discouraged by failure they didn't even thing they were failing.." And my evidence that supports this is  "one ten year old boy pulled up his chair rubbed his hands together... I love a challenge" That evidenced proves that the kids was ready for anything.

Success looks like someone that has been actually trying to thrive for success. When you are working in a job that you like to do and not some hourly job that barely pays your bill, thats what success looks like to me.

Failure can mean a lot of things to a person, but failure to me in my own eyes is someone that gave it their all to something and has not achieved its goal.
